We guarantee that work will be assigned to each accredited provider during their 2-year enrollment period. That period does not start the day you sign up. It starts on the day you receive your first job assignment, so the time you spend waiting for the first one is not time taken off your enrollment.
Your second year of enrollment is included at no cost.
The residents are already there. These are homes where we provide no-cost property management services to assist with community and property upkeep, so this is never a matter of building an audience from nothing. What differs between cities is how much outreach we have running on the ground, because that is what tells those residents which providers now serve them. A city where we are still hiring local community managers takes longer to produce its first request than one where our outreach is already at full strength. Starting the clock at signup would make you pay for that difference. Starting it at your first assignment means every provider gets the same full 2 years of active enrollment, no matter when the first job reached them.
On a lead marketplace like Thumbtack or Angi, nobody can promise you work, because every job is a contest and the platform has no say in who wins it. Our model is the opposite. Residents in the communities we manage are not shopping around and collecting bids. They are matched to a verified provider, and in your trade in your area that is you.
That is why we are able to guarantee this at all. We are not promising that strangers will pick you. We are promising to send you the requests that come out of the homes we manage, and that is the part we control.

What takes time is the outreach that tells those residents which providers now serve their community, and how much of it we can run locally grows as we bring on community managers in your area. That is why the volume in month one is not the volume you will see later in your enrollment.
